Mancoosi-offered Debian-services

On this page we will host Debian-related services coming from the Mancoosi research project.

At the time of writing there isn't much to see yet. Here is a random sampling of "stuff" we are working on:

• APT repository of Mancoosi software, shipped as Debian packages:
  debian/ sources.list and other instructions are available in its README

• Debian Weather (hosted on edos.debian.net):
  weather-like representation of uninstallable package counts for Debian-based distributions

• Debian graphing:
  graphing the Debian distribution, made of tens of thousands of packages, concisely, highlighting relevant inter-package relationships

  • package dominators, i.e. "heads" of package clusters tied by strong dependency relationships.
    (Stay tuned for a document explaining more formally the semantic nature of dominators.)
